Here is some information about my Qualifications & Experience:

I am a qualified BACP and BICA accredited counsellor for individuals and couples with over twelve years expereince.  I am a psychosexual therapist (sex therapist) and experienced fertility counsellor with over four years experience within an NHS Clinic.

 

I have the following qualifications:

CPCAB Accredited BICA Foundation Course in Infertility Counselling

​

The London Diploma of Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy (COSRT approved course)

​

Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from Keele University

​

Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Staffordshire University

​

With the exception of my Psychosexual and couples/relationship therapy, which is more directive, the core of my clinical work is based around the person-centred approach. However, I also draw upon many other counselling orientations to provide a more integrative and tailored approach to each client’s needs. I am happy to provide both short-term and long-term sessions.

I have over 5 years experience of working in a mental health setting, including over 4 years counselling NHS clients within an IAPT setting. These clients had a variety of mental health, psychosexual and relationship issues.
